In total the expected amount is equal to around 11 and a half million euros with municipal funds. In particular, 4 million were allocated to some quadrants of the territory: one million each for San Lorenzo-Bologna, Trieste-Africano, Parioli-Pinciano and Flaminio-Villaggio Olimpico. Another 7,5 million they are specifically dedicated to individual neighborhoods: Africano, Flaminio, Italia, San Lorenzo, Trieste, Pinciano and Parioli. To these will be added the 5 million in funds for the Jubilee ei 2 million for via Pinciana for the resurfacing of pavements and road surfaces with cleaning of drains with canal jet. The cobblestones that initially make the roadway very steep will also be replaced and the deck will be rebuilt.

"With Mayor Gualtieri we have started an important work of profound redevelopment of the streets of Rome. With Csimu and Anas we are working on the main roads, around 700 roads for 800 kilometres. To implement this plan, Roma Capitale has 300 million euros available, including municipal and jubilee funds, thanks to which we will be able to complete the resurfacing of all the major Roman arteries. In Municipality II we have already intervened in viale Maresciallo Pilsudski, viale Tiziano and viale Parioli. We are redeveloping the Ignazio Guidi underpass at night and recently completed the restyling of the square in front of the Tiburtina station. Furthermore, in this quadrant, with Jubilee funds, we are carrying out work on the Eastern Ring Road. Even the Municipalities, with the funds allocated to them and the Jubilee resources, can carry out important interventions for the minor road network. Rome is making its way to return increasingly safe streets to inhabitants, tourists and pilgrims", declares the councilor ai Public Works of Rome Capital Ornella Segnalini.

"This operation constitutes a historic turning point in the field of road maintenance in the Municipality which for many years has been lacking due to a lack of resources. This is an organized and comprehensive program that concerns the entire municipal territory, intervening primarily on the most compromised roads and sidewalks, and which provides for a connection with the Campidoglio for major roads", adds the president of the Roma II Municipality Francesca Del Bello.

“It is the first time that a comprehensive intervention will be carried out on the streets of Municipality II. This is an operation that will resolve the main critical issues, to which will be added some important interventions prepared by the Csimu Department of Rome Capital on the main roads and by the underground services companies with which a coordination table has been opened" declares the Councilor for Public Works of the Rome II Municipality Paola Rossi.
