On September 29, a high-impact service was carried out by personnel from the State Police and the Local Police “Roma Capitale”.
Specifically, with the aim of intensifying the control to protect safety on the large transport infrastructures of the urban connection, the activity involved the Metro station Line B1 stop “IONIO”. Furthermore, with the help of the anti-drug canine unit, during the territorial control service to combat activities related to drug dealing, the adjacent public parks were checked and 3 customers fined since they are seriously suspected of the crime of possession for the purpose of trafficking of narcotic substances.
During the activities, coordinated by the staff of the Fidene District and which saw the participation of the Dog Unit and the Crime Prevention Unit, identified 122 people, 6 vehicles checked, 2 violations of the Highway Code contested for an amount of approximately 5mila euros, 4 commercial establishments inspected and fined for a total amount of over 33mila euros.
During the checks, they were 3 Videolottery arcade businesses fined since the failure to interrupt the video game devices in the time slots indicated by the municipality and the violation of the smoking ban in the places where the gaming stations are installed were found. In particular, one of the commercial establishments was also fined and reported to the competent authorities for closure due to the presence of two minors. The owners were therefore fined for a total amount of over 33 thousand euros.
We also checked a restaurant in Via delle Vigne Nuove which had precarious hygienic conditions. During the inspection, the presence of cockroaches and the lack of traceability of numerous frozen food products were found; for these reasons, the temporary closure of the business and the seizure of 125 kg of food.
