Rome: Extraordinary control services in the Fonte Nuova area, administrative sanctions issued for almost 10.000 euros

The High Impact public order and safety services implemented by the State Police have been incessant, this time in the Fonte Nuova area. Security and decorum of urban places are the objectives of the synergic work carried out by the men of the III Fidene Serpentara District, the Local Police of Fonte Nuova, without neglecting the contribution of the SIAN operators of the ASL ROMA G. The officers carried out a control service in the extra-urban area, combing through some areas of the locality of Fonte Nuova also through targeted checkpoints which allowed the identification of 47 people, 15 of whom were foreign nationals, 11 vehicles checked and 7 commercial establishments subjected to administrative inspection.

Seven administrative violations were reported, 5 of which were during the inspection of the VLT halls for a total amount of 7944 euros. In particular, the following have been carried out: administrative inspections also on multiple food and beverage supply activities, during which the SIAN staff ordered the immediate suspension of a commercial establishment in via Nomentana and the owner was reported for "Attempt to public health and poor state of conservation and contamination by parasites and animal faeces in food"; therefore the expected ones have been raised fines amounting to 2000 euros.

The strategy implemented will continue consistently in order to ensure the protection of the city's urban areas in all its declinations, as well as guaranteeing the protection of safety and urban decorum as a useful unicum to ensure adequate standards of liveability for the benefit of the community.
