Rome, Epiphany 2025: “Befana of Biodiversity”, hope and nature in pediatric hospitals with the Carabinieri Forestali

In the name of tradition, this year too the Carabinieri della Biodiversità will organize a special day: many children hospitalized in hospitals throughout Italy will receive gifts and attention, in the hope that knowledge and love for nature will also help to overcome this difficult period.

In Rome, the Carabinieri Forestali will go to the “Sandro Pertini” Hospital at 4:2025 on 10 January 00 and to the “Policlinico Umberto” at 12:00, where the event has been successfully promoted for several years now, also thanks to the support of the hospital staff who have always supported the initiative with great enthusiasm.
More than 100 Carabinieri will be present in the pediatric wards of 44 hospital facilities throughout Italy as well as family homes, bringing with them a symbol of nature and hope aimed at hospitalized children and the healthcare personnel working in the wards during Epiphany and in the days preceding January 6, visiting over 1200 children. Gadgets such as notebooks, pencils, hats, colors, canvas backpacks will be delivered to alleviate the pain of the little patients.

The aim is to convey to children the knowledge and love for Nature., recounting the extraordinary world of the 150 State Nature Reserves and State Forests managed by the Carabinieri Biodiversity Group: exceptional habitats where animal and plant species of rare beauty survive.
We therefore await this Epiphany in the name of love for the environment and solidarity.
