They had transformed a condominium elevator of via dell'Archeologia in a real drug depot, using it to hide and sell cocaine and crack. Two Tunisians aged 19 and 26 they were arrested by the investigators of the VI Casilino District, as part of an operation aimed at repression of drug dealing Tor Bella Monaco.
The policemen, who had been following the 26 year old, believed to be the supplier of the area, they identified his drug dealing place and observed his movements. The man moved between the street and the elevator, stopping the cabin between the third and fourth floors for a few seconds, before returning to the pusher in charge of distribution.
The raid took place while the young drug dealer was receiving the drugs. Despite the 19-year-old's attempted escape, the officers stopped him and recovered him 26 wraps of cocaine and crack. Following the supplier's trail, the police discovered the secret hiding place between the elevator shaft and the building wall: an airtight envelope attached with magnets to a metal plate contained over 200 doses of drugs, for a total of 110 grams.
Both arrested were accused of possession and dealing of narcotics.Judicial authority validated the actions of the State Police, arranging for them the residence ban in the Municipality of Rome.
