Rome: Caught with drugs and a rifle hidden in the bedroom, 44-year-old arrested

A forty-four-year-old man was arrested Italian because he is seriously suspected of crime of possession of narcotics for the purpose of dealing as well as being investigated for receiving stolen goods, illegal possession of a weapon and related ammunition.

The investigators, during an observation service set up ad hoc, intercepted the man on board his car in via Peroni and, After identifying him as a forty-four year old Italian, they went to the latter's home where they carried out a check.

Following the search carried out, the officers found, hidden in the bedroom closet, 11 grams of heroin, 92 grams of hashish, approximately 75 grams of cocaine, 3 precision scales as well as various materials for packaging the drug. Also, always hidden on the floor inside the same closet in a case, they found a Beretta 12 gauge sawn-off shotgun, which was found stolen by subsequent investigations, and 58 cartridges of different calibers.

Therefore, the forty-four year old was arrested because he is seriously suspected of crime of possession for the purpose of dealing narcotic substances and reported at liberty for the crimes of receiving stolen goods, illegal possession of a weapon and related ammunition. The Preliminary Investigation Judge, at the request of the Prosecutor's Office, validated the actions of the police.
