The president was joined by the mayor of Rome Roberto Gualtieri, the councilor for Productive Activities and Equal Opportunities Monica Lucarelli and the councilor for the environment Sabrina Alfonsi. Also present were the prefect of Rome Lamberto Giannini and the police commissioner Roberto Massucci.

"Roma Rose was born to celebrate and raise awareness of the talent and commitment of extraordinary women who contribute to the growth of our city and country every day. Their stories are a powerful message, because they demonstrate that with determination, skill and passion you can overcome obstacles and reach important goals. They are an example for all of us. Not just a celebration of March 8, but a concrete recognition to those who, with their work and dedication, represent a model for the new generations. Rome is proud of these women, who remind us how essential it is to continue to commit and fight for a better society and fully achieve gender equality. I thank all the winners of this edition for their testimony. Together we can contribute to a city that wants to increasingly enhance the role and talent of women“, comments the president of the Capitoline Assembly Svetlana Celli.
