Rome, administrative inspections and fines up to 1.450 Euro: the “High Impact” order and security services

High Impact Services of the State Police in the San Basilio area: 2 people reported to the Prefect for drug crimes and hashish seized. 178 people identified, 30 vehicles checked, 4 commercial establishments subjected to administrative inspections resulting in the application of 4 administrative sanctions, for an amount of 1.450 euros.

Incessant “High Impact” public order and safety services implemented by the State Police with activities punctually planned by the Rome Police Headquarters.

Yesterday, the police officers of the IV San Basilio District together with the men of the “Sant'Ippolito” Police Station, crews from the Lazio Crime Prevention Unit and an anti-drug canine unit, carried out a targeted control service to protect safety on large transport infrastructures of the urban connection, at the Metro Station Line B, “Ponte Mammolo”, where following checks and with the assistance of the canine unit, 2 people were reported to the Prefect of Rome, as they were found in possession of some doses of hashish which were subsequently subjected to administrative seizure.

They were carried out checkpoints in the Ponte Mammolo, Colli Aniene and San Basilio neighborhoods in order to increase the perception of safety, to prevent and combat the commission of crimes of various kinds.

The control activity allowed to identify 172 people, of which 69 are foreign nationals, 30 are the vehicles checked and 4 commercial establishments underwent administrative checks.

Specifically, during the service administrative inspections were carried out on 4 commercial activities. In an arcade in via Tiburtina, one was found administrative violation for an amount of 150 euros, because the hall was open to the public with video gaming terminals operating during closing hours and with customers inside intent on gaming, in violation of the provisions of the mayoral ordinance of the Municipality of Rome.

Always in the same Via Tiburtina, in different ones The same administrative violation was found in 2 other arcades and therefore the expected financial penalties have been increased to an amount of 150 euros for each of them.

Finally, in the same way, within a food and drink administration activity, one was elevated administrative fine for an amount of 1000 euros as the presence of waste bins without the required covering was found.
