Ostia: Serial robbers of pharmacies, bars and tobacconists, two citizens aged 50 and 46 arrested 

They had become the nightmare of the merchants and citizens of the 10th municipality. two Italian citizens aged 46 and 50, arrested by the State Police officers of the 10th District of Lido di Roma. Their favorite targets were pharmacies, bars and tobacconists. The criminal scheme was always the same: they threatened owners and employees with a knife, taking cash, scratch cards, stamp duty and medicines from the cash registers, forcing customers – also under threat – to witness their criminal actions.

Their serial activity, however, encountered a setback a few days ago when the two have carried out yet another robbery in a pharmacy of Dragona: with their faces covered, they had threatened the employees with a knife and had taken all the money in the cash register before fleeing on board a car. It was the officers of the 10th Lido District who intercepted them during their escape, which ended only after a long chase, which then continued on foot and ended in the alleys of the centre of Ostia where the police officers managed to stop and arrest them..

Following validation, the two were associated at the Regina Coeli prison.
