Civitavecchia: Stalks his ex, arrested by the State Police

The men of the Maritime Border Police of Civitavecchia, directed by Deputy Commissioner Giorgia Iafrate, they arrested a young fellow citizen, who was arrested red-handed of crime for the crime of stalking, carried out against his ex-girlfriend and her entire family unit.

The girl had already presented a detailed complaint in April, which is why the boy was about to face a trial at the local court. Evidently this was not enough to make him desist from bullying, persecutory and threatening behavior towards his ex-girlfriend and in fact, in the last few days he has again been responsible for such behavior both under the ex-girlfriend's house and the grandmother's house, where the young girl often went.

The girl was able to avoid worse consequences only thanks to to the providential intervention of a passerby who distracted the molester, allowing the girl to quickly walk away to go to the local hospital, due to the state of agitation she was in.

The man, evidently in the grip of a state of extreme nervousness and fearing that the young woman's father might have gone to the Border Police Office to file yet another complaint against him, he went to the aforementioned Office. Once inside the police station, the man was going into a rage, first threatening the operators with whom he was looking for a physical confrontation and subsequently throwing on the ground a bulky package he was holding, from which some wires connected to batteries were coming out.

To this extent man, immediately stopped and searched, was found in possession of four knives, two of which were switchblades, which were seized. The intervention of the bomb disposal unit of the specialized department of the Border Police at Fiumicino Airport was also requested, which ascertained that the package thrown on the ground by the man, although extremely similar to a rudimentary device, was in reality free of explosives.

The next house search allowed to find further weapons, Including a sword with an extremely sharp “katana” type blade and a complete bow with metal-tipped arrows.

The young man's social profiles, analysed for investigative purposes, highlighted numerous videos posted by the boy with violent, threatening and contemptuous content, both towards the Institutions and towards the ex-girlfriend. Considering what happened, the man was arrested for the crime which has now sadly become current persecution.

After the formal procedures, the arrested person was taken to the local prison. It is stated that all the phases of the activities carried out were coordinated by the local Public Prosecutor's Office, directed by Chief Prosecutor Alberto Liguori and by the Deputy Prosecutor in charge of the investigation Eugenio Rubolino.
