Eight people have been arrested by the State Police in the last few hours as they are seriously suspected of the crime of possession of narcotics for the purpose of dealing.
The latest brilliant operation was carried out by the police of the III Fidene-Serpentara District who, following a service to combat the dealing of narcotic substances they seized well 10 kg of hashish and a 71-year-old Italian man was arrested for possession of narcotics for the purpose of dealing.
In particular, the officers, while passing through via di Val Cannuta, noticed a man loading a box into his car. The investigators reached him and checked him, finding, inside the box, 10 kg of hashish divided into 100 wraps. Therefore, at the end of the ritual procedures, the 71-year-old was arrested.

The officers of the Porta Pia police station, following an anonymous YOUPOL tip, went to Piazza Oreste Tommasini where a 64-year-old Italian man had been reported, involved in drug dealing. The man was found in possession of three packages of cocaine and, following a house search, other items were found 3 grams of cocaine in a single package and 475 euros in cash.
The men of the 19th District of Lido di Roma have arrested a XNUMX-year-old Italian for possession with intent to sell. The subject, noticed in Via di Saponara in the act of selling a substance, was stopped and, following a check, was found in possession of two wraps of hashish for a total of 15 grams. Meanwhile, at the subject's home, a further 134 grams of hashish were found, as well as precision scales, packaging material and 2.813 euros in cash.
The police officers of the Appio Nuovo police station arrested a 29-year-old Italian. The man, noticed in Via Filarete in the act of selling a substance, was stopped and, following a check, was found in possession of 4 grams of cocaine while, following a check in the hotel room where he was staying, a further 11 grams of cocaine and 892 euros in cash were found.
The police officers of the Flying Section arrested 2 men aged 39 and 68 and a 69-year-old woman. Specifically, the officers, following a check of the 39-year-old, found inside the pocket of the fanny pack 2 wraps of hashish while another 136 grams of the same substance were found at the man's home. It later emerged that the 39-year-old was living at his parents' home and the house search there allowed a total of 1,5 kg of hashish. A 28-year-old was also arrested after being found in possession of 23 wraps of cocaine and the sum of 230 euros in cash.
The police officers of the Flying Squad, together with the agents of the 35th District of Lido di Roma, have also arrested a XNUMX-year-old Tunisian found in possession of 16 grams of marijuana and 5 of cocaine. Part of the narcotic substance was found inside a moka pot-shaped lamp. The man was also subject to a precautionary measure, as he had the obligation to report to the Judicial Police.
The officers of the Fiumicino Police Station, passing along Via Volga, noticed a car that abruptly stopped at the sight of them. Stopped for a check, the driver was identified as a 21-year-old Italian, subjected to a prohibition on approaching with an electronic bracelet. The vehicle search and subsequently the house search allowed find some doses of crack and cocaine as well as 102 grams of hashish. Furthermore, analyzing a chat on his cell phone, it emerged that the 21-year-old supplied the narcotic substance to a 33-year-old Italian. The search of the latter's home led to the discovery of 475 grams of hashish and 4 of crack.
The Judicial Authority, at the request of the local Public Prosecutor's Office, validated the actions of the State Police.
