Rome: Brawl between customers and bar managers, 3 arrests and one complaint

After a brawl between customers and bar managers - which ended with 3 arrests and a complaint - the State Police sealed off a bar that will have to remain closed for 15 days. The brawl is only the latest of the episodes that have led the Rome Police Chief to adopt a measure that requires the owners of a bar in the Don Bosco district to keep the shutter down for 15 days.

Two customers – a man and a woman of Cuban origin – fought with sticks and bottles with the owner of the bar and her minor son. Only thanks to the providential intervention of the State Police the episode did not have tragic consequences even if all the participants had to seek emergency care. The adult perpetrators were arrested while the teenager was reported to the specialized prosecutor's office.

The Tuscolano police station, in whose jurisdiction the bar falls, has also collectedand 2 other recent episodes in which the owner of the place is allegedly involved: an assault on 2 women and a fight with some customers. The Administrative Division of the Police Headquarters, in charge of the investigation, also highlighted that the owner of the bar was burdened by numerous police records.

These reasons allowed the Police Chief of Rome to issue a provision pursuant to art. 100 TULPS aimed at guaranteeing public order and the safety of citizens. The act was notified by the agents of the Tuscolano police station and the bar will have to remain closed for 15 days.

Roma: Rissa tra clienti e gestori del bar, 3 arresti ed una denuncia
