The administrative checks of the State Police, carried out in recent days in the area under the jurisdiction of the Torpignattara police station, led the Rome Police Commissioner to issue a suspension of license for 15 days, based on article 100 of the TULPS (Consolidated Law on Public Security), paid by the owners of a commercial establishment.
In particular, the officers of the Torpignattara police station intervened on two different occasions, 3 March and 30 March, at a bar in via Casilina, for a report of a dispute between patrons and, in both circumstances, they ascertained that the place was frequented by people in obvious state of drunkenness, some of which with police records.
Furthermore, last March 31st, the agents intervened again due to a dispute between customers and, upon arriving on site, initially the owner had almost refused to let them in but, once inside, the police were able to see that the business was dirty and smelly because shortly before, following the argument, several bottles had been smashed on the floor; for this reason, the owner of the structure was reported in a state of freedom
Following the investigation conducted by the Administrative Police Division, the Police Commissioner, applying article 100 of the consolidated text of the Public Security laws, issued the above provision.
The officers of the Torpignattara police station subsequently notified him, as required by law, and they posted the "Closed by order of the Police Commissioner" sign at the entrance to the facilities.
