Carabinieri, special forces, and canine units are in action: drug dealers and hidden stashes among hedges and condominium buildings have been identified.

Major anti-drug operation at Quarticciolo, where the Carabinieri of the Rome Casilina Company and the Rome Tor Tre Teste Station, with the support of the "Cacciatori" Helicopter Squadrons of Sicily and Puglia, of the Pratica di Mare Helicopter Unit and of the Santa Maria Galeria Dog Unit, arrested 11 Guests seriously suspected of the crimes of possession and dealing of narcotic substances.
The intervention is part of the prevention and contrast activities set up by the Provincial Command of Rome, in line with the directives of the Prefect of Rome Lamberto Giannini, to increase the level of security in the neighborhood.
During the checks, the military seized 675 doses of crack and cocaine, two blocks of hashish and about 2.000 euros in cash, considered to be the proceeds of drug dealing.
In detail:

Un 29 year old Moroccan he was stopped in Via Ostuni with 5 doses of crack, 9 of cocaine and 300 euros.

Un Tunisian citizen was found with 148 doses of crack for a total of 91 grams.

Still in via Ostuni, a 30 year old Algerian and an Roman minor they had with them 13 doses of crack, 40 of cocaine and 710 euros.

In via Manfredonia, a 40 year old Egyptian he had 2 doses of cocaine, 100 grams of hashish and 100 euros.

Shortly after, the Carabinieri arrested a 19 year old Egyptian, two Italians and one 28 year old Tunisian, caught hiding among the vegetation 207 doses of crack and 109 of cocaine.

Un 45 year old Nigerian and an 28 year old Moroccan, homeless, were caught with 18 doses of crack and cocaine.

Un 19 year old Egyptian with a criminal record, he was arrested while concealing 146 doses of crack and 61 of cocaine.

Finally, three subjects – two Italians aged 19 and 21 and a Tunisian aged 27 – were found with 61 doses of crack, 48 of cocaine e 700 €.
Thanks to checks carried out by canine units, further doses were found and seized in the condominium premises, belonging to unknown persons: 61 of cocaine, 63 of crack e 9 of hashish, hidden among hedges and closets.
All arrests were validated.
