Factory Intrusion in Rome: 5 People Arrested for Illegal Occupation
There were 5 people in the family nucleus involved in the intrusion carried out inside the premises of a factory located in the Casilino area, in via dei Ruderi di Torrenova. Taking advantage of the fragility of the site, the aforementioned had identified the building owned by a real estate company their new home. In a strategy that leaves no room for illegality in its many forms, the Rome Police Headquarters has ordered the immediate intervention of the territorially competent Police Station, which proceeded to free up the spaces unduly occupied.
In addition to the violation of property rights, the intervention of the Police Headquarters was also aimed at ensuring hygiene and livability conditions of the places, given that the spaces affected by the intrusion, once used as offices, were found to be devoid of services useful for the supply of electricity and water and were set up in a few hours with household goods to be used by the occupants for domestic purposes.
