Campagnano di Roma: He doesn't accept the end of the relationship and kidnaps his ex-girlfriend, 21-year-old arrested for stalking and kidnapping

The Carabinieri of the Campagnano di Roma Station have executed an order that orders house arrest with an electronic bracelet, issued by the Court of Civitavecchia at the request of the local Prosecutor's Office, against a 21-year-old Italian man seriously suspected of the crimes of stalking and kidnapping against his ex-partner, an 18-year-old girl.

On January 31, the Bracciano Company Operations Center received a request for help from the girl's family, who were worried because they had learned from a schoolmate that the young woman had been forced by her ex-boyfriend to get into his car. The victim then managed to contact her friend before the 21-year-old took her cell phone away to prevent her from being traced.

The Carabinieri immediately began a search, together with the 18-year-old's family, which allowed them to find the couple in an isolated area and secure the young girl.

It emerged that the young woman, following her decision to leave him, had suffered psychological violence from her partner, culminating in a real kidnapping when the young woman had been taken against her will from the minicar in which she was heading to school. She had subsequently been threatened with a knife but had managed to calm the 21-year-old who, never resigned to the end of their relationship, had also threatened to take his own life.

Thanks to the investigative findings of the Carabinieri and the work of the judiciary, an immediate ban on approaching the injured party was ordered and, a few hours later, the precautionary measure of house arrest with an electronic bracelet was applied.
