Reggio Calabria: decisive blow to organized crime, massive seizure of weapons and explosives in the Arghillà neighborhood

A routine check of the territory by the Carabinieri of the Catona Station led to the discovery of a large arsenal of weapons and explosive material in the Arghillà neighborhood, inflicting a major blow to organized crime. The arsenal was found in a building in the neighborhood, hidden behind a wall on the top floor of the building.

During the operations, the Carabinieri identified and seized four barrels containing a vast assortment of war weapons, ammunition, and explosive material. The contents, properly sealed to ensure long-term preservation, included rifles of various types, pistols of different calibers, war ammunition, as well as blocks of TNT, some of which had detonators already primed.
