Cinquefrondi (Reggio Calabria), she feels ill on the street and loses consciousness. Woman rescued during the night by the Carabinieri

It was a night like many others for the Carabinieri of the Cinquefrondi station, engaged in the usual patrol service on the streets of the province of Reggio Calabria. But what seemed like a quiet routine quickly turned into an episode that could have had much more serious consequences.

As they were passing along a street in the town, the two soldiers noticed an alarming scene: a woman, visibly in difficulty, had suddenly collapsed to the ground, struck by an illness. Without hesitating for a moment, the Carabinieri stopped the vehicle and rushed to the woman, who was lying unconscious and in the throes of violent convulsions. Every second counted.

With lucidity and promptness, the military immediately alerted the Operations Centre, requesting the intervention of the health personnel. In the meantime, they did not wait: with great professionalism they started the first resuscitation maneuvers, managing to make the woman regain consciousness. Every gesture was driven by the will to save a life.
Shortly after, the arrival of 118 allowed the unfortunate woman to be transported safely to the Polistena Hospital. But, before leaving the scene of the incident, the woman asked for one last gesture, simple but full of gratitude: she wanted to thank the Carabinieri who, with their promptness, had saved her life.

A moment of great fear for the woman, which however ended without more serious consequences thanks to the timely intervention of the Carabinieri. For them, however, another night of service, completed with the usual commitment and dedication. An episode that demonstrates, once again, how the Carabinieri are always ready to intervene to protect and help citizens, in any circumstance.
