Ravenna, the Christmas tree donated by Andalo is arriving: lights turned on on November 22nd and a fir tree in Piazza del Popolo on the 30th.

The Norway spruce will arrive in Piazza del Popolo on November 20th. The lights will be turned on on Saturday the 22nd, and the official tree ceremony with the authorities will take place on Sunday the 30th.

Ravenna, the Christmas tree donated by Andalo is arriving: the lights will be turned on on November 22nd and a fir tree will be erected in Piazza del Popolo on the 30th.

It is planned for Thursday November 20 the arrival in Piazza del Popolo of the Christmas tree, a spruce donated by Municipality of Andalo (Trento).

Thus a consolidated tradition is renewed, linked to the long friendship born from the group's summer stays Loving Ravenna right in the Trentino area.

Once the installation and decoration operations have been completed, the fir tree – coming from an area where selective felling was already planned – will be on Sunday, November 30th at 17pm, in the presence of Mayor of Ravenna Alessandro Barattoniand Mayor of Andalo Eleonora Bottamedi, from the Prefect Raffaele Ricciardi, from the President of the Cassa di Ravenna Antonio Patuelli and representatives of the sponsors.

The exhibition is curated by Azimut spa and made possible thanks to the collaboration of The Ravenna Fund, Citizens of the Order spa, Ravenna Beach Cooperative, Spasso Committee in Ravenna, Engim, Sapir Group, Ram Holding spa e Tcr Container Terminal Ravenna.

The ceremony will be accompanied by the town band.

Saturday November 22 instead the lights will be turned on lights, Edited by Fun in Ravenna, which will also contribute to creating the Christmas atmosphere in the city this year.

Confirmed Free parking from December 1st to 27th: on weekdays parking will be free by 16.30 in the blue stalls managed by Azimut, with the exception of Baracca Square, free by 18.30Parking remains free all day on public holidays.

It also continues free line 80, in the stretch between the car parks of via Marco Bussato and the Pala De André, on weekdays.

The service allows you to leave your car in one of the two car parks and reach for free the historic center, along a path of seven kilometers 24 stops.

All other events planned for the Christmas period will be announced in the coming days.
