At 10am in the Osmilde Gabucci Room of Casa Rossini CIMP Academy for Music offers the master class Vocal and interpretative practice in the Rossini repertoire with Mirca Rosciani, reserved for young opera singers. Vocal and interpretative practice in Rossini's repertoire will be explored in depth. The best participants will then be selected for a final concert which will take place in the coming months. At 11 at Casa Rossini, 1000 Faces of Casa Rossini, treasure hunt and workshop for children by the Pescheria Foundation Visual Arts Center and Pesaro Museums. Finding traces of Rossini inside his birthplace will not be so easy: sometimes they are hidden between the gazes of the portraits, other times behind hidden corners. At 18pm in the Antonia Pallerini Hall of Palazzo Gradari, the G. Marconi Music High School presents the concert Musical Geography, under the banner of the link between bel canto and romantic repertoire in general. Musical Geographies: how has bel canto outlined affinities between vocality and instrumental repertoire? What have composers inherited from bel canto? Soloists and chamber ensembles will perform music by Donizetti, Paganini, Chopin, Fanny Mendelssohn-Hensel, Schumann. Naturally, there will also be Rossini, who with his musical audacity conquered Europe and the world, dictating aesthetic lines that have revolutionized and broken down the boundaries. Free entry.
