Pesaro confirms itself as a cultural capital: it registers record attendance at museums thanks to quality cultural events.
With around 350 visitors in the most important museums of the city, Pesaro confirms itself as a cultural capital that continues to invest in art and beauty", said the mayor Andrea Biancani and the deputy mayor and councilor for Culture Daniele Vimini announcing the numbers of the weekend just concluded. «On the occasion of the Night of Museums and for the International Museum Day we recorded the same turnout that we count in the summer with tourists arriving in the city. An important result for Pesaro and for this administration that continues to invest in art and beauty", they specified.
The Pesaro Museums circuit, which includes the Civic Museums, the Pescheria Visual Arts Centre and Casa Rossini, has recorded 250 visitors during the two opening days. Saturday 17th – for the Night of the Museums – the Civic Museums they offeredan extraordinary evening opening from 21pm to 23pm and two extra programs at Sonosfera®. In the morning the offer was increased by the 'Fumetto cer-amico' workshop for children aged 6 to 10 years and, in the afternoon, a guided tour in the 'History of a ceramic production area' ceramics, on the occasion of the AICC initiative Good morning Ceramics. Classic openings, instead, for Casa Rossini and Centro Arti Visive Pescheria which is hosting “Towards the Vangi Museum. The Master of Form”The 250 visitors also include entrance fees for Palazzo Ciacchi who organized a guided tour of the ceramics on the exhibition route.
A eighty, approximately, visitors for the Rossini National Museum – which had planned the evening opening from 21pm to 23.30pm and the evening guided tour of “In the time of Rossini, in the heart of the museum” – and the Washington Patrignani Maritime Museum of Villa Molaroni with the director Maria Lucia DeNicolo who accompanied the public on the visit “The Community of the Shores. The Intangible Heritage of the Culture of the Sea”.
