Villa Miralfiore reopens its historic gardens and becomes a town hall.
Villa Miralfiore has opened its majestic gates after the restoration and the enhancement of historic gardens which represent one of the most significant examples of the Renaissance villa system in the regional context.
Un investment of 1.875.346,00 euros of funds PNRR – Historic parks and gardens fund «which gives back to the city a
of its most beautiful heritages that will soon be visitable also thanks to the summer and cultural tours promoted by the Municipality of Pesaro, which also includes other historic residences such as: Villa Imperiale, Rocca Costanza and Palazzo Ducale, thanks to the collaboration established with the city guides", said the mayor Andrea Biancani and the deputy mayor and councilor for Culture, Daniele Vimini.
"Congratulations to the Livi family, owners of the structure - to Vittorio, Francesco, Daniele and Silvia - who believed in the project from the beginning, ever since they acquired the complex, which was abandoned at the time, about 30 years ago. They managed to intercept almost 2 million euros of PNRR funds for the redevelopment of the eighteenth-century "Italian" gardens that include an incredible variety of trees, including a ginko biloba, decorated hedges and historic fountains. The external gardens have an accessible path and its interior can also be visited thanks to a virtual viewer that combines history with innovation".

Villa Miralfiore will soon also become a town hall, it will therefore be «usable as a location for civil and religious weddings, by making a request at the time of application to the registry offices".
Mayor Biancani also reiterated during his speech: «I am grateful to the Livi family who in all these years has managed to make Pesaro known throughout the world, thanks to the entrepreneurial ability that has ensured that the company has been recognized for its processing
artisanal and artistic glass. The investment in the Miralfiore park was not to be taken for granted, which today represents, thanks to the Villa and its historic garden, one of the heritages of the city and of the entire region."
