Partinico and Borghetto (Palermo), some doses of marijuana and parts of a stolen car seized: 2 arrests and 3 reports

 The Carabinieri of the Partinico Company carried out a wide-ranging service, aimed at preventing crimes and violations of the highway code, by organizing checkpoints along the main arteries of the municipalities under its jurisdiction.

In Borgetto, during the activity, two young people from Montreal, aged 27 and 24, were arrested on charges of possession for the purpose of dealing narcotic substances because they were stopped at a checkpoint along State Road 186 and found in possession of approximately 50 grams of marijuana.

The arrests were validated by the Preliminary Investigations Judge of the Court of Palermo who applied the precautionary measure of the obligation of presentation to the judicial police.

In Partinico, a 68-year-old and a 25-year-old were reported at liberty to the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Court of Palermo for stolen because found in possession of parts removed from a car reported stolen, later found in a countryside area of ​​that municipality.

In the same locality, a 52 year old foreigner was subjected to a check because he was carrying out dangerous high speed manoeuvres in his car. The man was reported for driving under the influence of alcohol as he was circulating with a blood alcohol level of 1.38 g/l.

Finally, a 21 year old was reported to the Prefecture of Palermo as user of narcotic substances for non-therapeutic use, as found in possession of marijuana.
