The story, which had as its protagonist a woman of South American origin and the crews of the State Police of Palermo.

After contacting the applicant, it was established that the woman had probably given birth on the street and, immediately after giving birth, had walked away with the baby still covered in blood and crying, in the direction of Mignosi Street. The Agents, having learned of this and noted a large blood stain, after having requested the immediate intervention of medical personnel on site, began a tight search in the area in order to locate both the woman and the newborn.

The operators, having thoroughly searched the entire area and the surrounding streets, managed to locate both of them near a yard, finding that the newborn baby was still attached to the mother from umbilical cordThe woman, who was found to be homeless by subsequent investigations, was immediately rescued and transported to a hospital.

They were moments of great excitement that ended happily: the timely intervention of the police allowed both the child and the mother to be saved.
