Palermo, escape from house arrest. The Carabinieri arrest 3 men

The Carabinieri of the Provincial Command of Palermo, constantly engaged in territorial control, in three different activities aimed at preventing and repressing crimes against the authority of judicial decisions, have arrested three Palermitans for evasion.

The soldiers of the San Filippo Neri Station, during a patrol service, passing through the “Zen 2” neighborhood, they noticed and recognized a 29-year-old local man already under the restrictive measure of house arrest who, without any authorization, was hanging around the neighborhood's pavilions in the company of other people.

The suspect, having noticed the presence of the Carabinieri, first railed against them and after having publicly insulted them, in order to elude the control he took a sudden escape between the pavilions but was caught a few seconds after having managed to access the inside of his home.

The soldiers of the Mezzo Monreale Station, during another service, passing through via Agostino Catalano they noticed the 55 year old, also known and under house arrest, who, having noticed the presence of the Carabinieri, tried to hide his face in order to later make a lightning escape in the direction of his home.

The man reached inside the house by the patrol, despite having already put on his pyjamas to deceive the control, was betrayed by the difficulty in breathing caused by running, the checks revealed the lack of authorization to leave the house.

The military of the Altarello di Baida station in the Boccadifalco area, arrested a 28-year-old who was also subjected to the precautionary measure of house arrest.

The officers noticed the boy walking on the public road who, at the sight of the Carabinieri, assumed a suspicious attitude so much so that he increased his pace but not before covering his face with the hood of his sweatshirt.

Stopped and identified by the military, he was found to be without authorizations issued by the Judicial Authority

The Preliminary Investigations Judge of the Court of Palermo, for all the suspects, validated the arrest and subjected the three men again to the measure of house arrest pending the decisions that will be taken by the Surveillance Court.
