Termini Imerese: 57-year-old arrested for prostitution

I Carabinieri of the Operational and Radiomobile Nucleus of the Territorial Department of Termini Imerese they performed aprecautionary custody order in prison issued by the Preliminary Investigations Judge of the local Court against a 57-year-old man, accused of promoting and exploiting prostitutionThe investigations, coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Termini Imerese, were started following a complaint which reported a suspicious coming and going of men near the suspect's home.

Between August and September 2025, the military conducted a series of investigative activities, including wiretaps, which gathered solid evidence against the 57-year-old. According to what emerged, the man took advantage of the psychological vulnerability of the partner, orchestrating sexual encounters both at the couple's home and at the clients' home.

The online adverts published by the man indicated details of the services, the costs – up to 100 euros – and the meeting places, imposing as the only requirement that he presence during sexual acts, demonstrating oppressive and coercive control over the victim. This operation confirms the commitment of the police of fight against exploitation and violence, protecting the dignity of people and the safety of the community. Carabinieri of Termini Imerese will continue to monitor and combat similar illicit activities, ensuring protection for the most vulnerable sections of the population.
