Porta Capuana: Caught with Drugs, State Police Arrests 37-Year-Old.
The State Police arrested a 37-year-old Tunisian with a criminal record, including specific ones, for illegal possession and supply of narcotics as well as for resisting a public official.
In particular, the officers of the Vicaria-Mercato Police Station, as part of the services set up for this purpose, noticed in Piazza Capuana a person sitting on a bench who, in exchange for a banknote, gave something to a person.
The police officers, who promptly intervened to interrupt the criminal process, stopped the defendant, not without difficulty and after a fight, finding him in possession of 17 packages of cocaine weighing approximately 2,5 grams, hidden in a cigarette pack, and 90 euros; the buyer, however, was administratively sanctioned for illicit possession of a narcotic substance for personal use because he was found in possession of the dose he had just purchased.
