Naples: Two men arrested for two robberies at the beginning of the year

By delegation of the Public Prosecutor, it is hereby communicated that on April 30th in Naples – in the districts of Rione Traiano and Fuorigrotta – personnel from the Fuorigrotta Carabinieri station and the “San Paolo” Police Station executed an order of pre-trial detention issued by the GIP of the Court of Naples at the request of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Naples, against two people aged 45 and 41.

The two arrested are seriously suspected of having committed two separate robberies, committed in Naples on 5 and 7 January 2024, as well as the crimes of personal injury and improper use of payment cards.

The measure is the result of an investigative coordination activity, coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Court of Naples, which channeled the results of the investigations conducted by the State Police and the Carabinieri in relation to the two separate criminal episodes.

At the end of the ritual formalities, the The 45-year-old was taken, at the disposal of the Judicial Authority, to the Poggioreale prison while the 41-year-old was subjected to house arrest.
