on the occasion of Valentine's day, Naples Police Headquarters was involved in the awareness campaign “This is not love”, a permanent initiative of the State Police dedicated to the contrast of gender violence.

A listening and support point for victims

From To 9.00 16.00, camper of the State Police was present in Enrico Berlinguer wide with a team of specialized operators from the:

• Anti-Crime Division,
• Flying Squad,
• Complaints Office,
• Health Office.

The operators were available in themeet women and potential victims of abuse, providing them indications on protection and intervention tools in case of violence.

Information and prevention

Copies of the booklet were distributed during the event. “This is not love”, a document created by the State Police that offers information, useful tips and stories of women who found the courage to say “enough” to violence.

An important initiative for raise awareness and support victims, demonstrating that I'm not alone and that there are concrete tools to escape from abusive situations.
