Melito: State Police arrests a 42-year-old for attempted murder.

The State Police have arrested a 42-year-old Neapolitan, with a criminal record, as he is seriously suspected of the crime of attempted murder and has consequently been placed in custody in prison by the proceeding Judicial Authority.

In particular, the agents of the General Prevention and Public Rescue Office, during the territorial control service, following a note received by the local Operations Room, intervened at the Moscati Hospital in Aversa (CE) for the report of a man injured by several stab wounds to the abdomen.

The operators, who promptly arrived on the scene, ascertained that the man, during the evening, had been attacked by a subject who, following an argument arising from trivial reasons that had taken place in via Giulio Cesare in Melito di Napoli, had wounded him with four stabs to the abdomen, putting him in danger of life.

The police, following a lightning investigation, managed to trace the identity of the alleged attacker, managing, in a short time, to intercept and block him in via Ticino in Melito di Napoli.
Following validation, the aforementioned person was subjected to the precautionary measure of detention in prison by the proceeding Judicial Authority.
