Forio d'Ischia: caught with drugs, the State Police arrests a 26-year-old.

The State Police arrested a 26-year-old from Ischia with a criminal record, including specific ones, for illegal possession of narcotics.

In particular, the officers of the Ischia Police Station, during the services arranged for this purpose, while passing through via Monterone, in the municipality of Forio d'Ischia, noticed an electric bicycle touched by a young man who, at the sight of them, moved away hastily to evade the control.

The officers, who promptly intervened, reached him and stopped him, finding him in possession of 2 packages containing cocaine.

Therefore, since there was good reason to believe that there could be further elements in relation to the facts for which they were proceeding, the operators extended the check to the aforementioned home where they found other packages of the same substance for a total weight of approximately 33 grams, two precision scales and 800 euros, divided into banknotes of different denominations.
