Casoria: Wine Shop Sells Alcohol and…Drugs, 44-Year-Old Arrested

Wine and drugs, a mix that cost the handcuffs to a 44-year-old with no criminal record from Casoria. The Carabinieri discovered that in a wine shop in the center of the town north of Naples, in addition to alcohol, two varieties of narcotics were also on sale.

The owner was arrested, 42 doses of cocaine and 14 of hashish were seized. Three precision scales, a black truncheon, packaging and cutting material and, again, 850 euros in cash considered to be illicit proceeds were also found in the business.

The 44-year-old was arrested for possession of drugs for the purpose of dealing and is now in prison, awaiting trial.
