Ercolano: 37-year-old arrested as he shows up to sign on a stolen scooter.

I Carabinieri of the Ercolano branch arrested for housebreaking Max Cefariello, 37 year old local man. The man, already known to the police, had been noticed by the Carabinieri on patrol while he was wandering around with suspicious attitude in the centre of town.

When the military tried to stop him, however, he fled in a car, which then turned out proceeds of theftThe Carabinieri lost track of him, but the next day they looked for him at the police station in Portici-Ercolano, where he served his sentenceobligation to report to the judicial police.

With the collaboration of the State Police officers, who held him until the arrival of the Carabinieri, Cefariello was checked and found in possession of the keys to a house and scooter stolen shortly before at the owner's residence.

For him the alarm bells went off controller. The arrest was validated and the 37-year-old was sentenced to three years' imprisonment.
