Castellammare di Stabia (Naples), attempted murder on the street. Carabinieri track down and arrest the person who allegedly fired the shots. He is 18 years old

In the afternoon, the Carabinieri of the operational and radiomobile section of Castellammare di Stabia intervened in Via Napoli for an injured man. A 36-year-old man was on the ground, with a gunshot wound to his right leg. Not in danger of life, the victim was taken to the hospital where the nose cone of a bullet was extracted.

The man did not provide any explanation to the military. Sconcrete points emerged from the careful analysis of the video surveillance images installed in the area. By following the tracks backwards, the carabinieri were able to identify the hand that allegedly fired the shots.

Paolo La Monica, an 18-year-old from Castellammare di Stabia, already known to the police, was arrested. He is now in prison, awaiting trial.
Investigations are still underway to clarify the reasons for the gesture and its origin.
