A family quarrel almost turned into a tragedy in Somma Vesuviana, where a 20-year-old stabs older sister six times in the abdomen for a seemingly trivial reason: one makeup remover.

I Carabinieri, who intervened in an apartment in the town north of Naples, reconstructed the story. The two sisters, 24 and 20 years old, with no criminal record, they were arguing heatedly because the eldest would used without permission the product of the younger sister.

The situation degenerated when the 20-year-old grabbed a kitchen knife and hit his sister with six stabs to the abdomen. The military, having arrived on site, the weapon still stained with blood was seized.

The victim was immediately transported to theNola hospital, where she was discharged with a 30 day prognosis. The young woman was arrested for aggravated personal injury and is now in prison at the disposal of the judicial authorities.
