Torre Annunziata, the man suspected of aggravated robbery against a woman and her daughter arrested

On the morning of Wednesday 1st May, the military of the Torre Annunziata Carabinieri Station (Naples), in execution of an order applying for precautionary custody in prison issued by the GIP of the Court of Torre Annunziata at the request of this Public Prosecutor's Office, proceeded with the arrest of a man seriously suspected of the crime of aggravated robbery committed in Torre Annunziata on 3 December 2023 to the detriment of a person over sixty-five years of age and the latter's daughter.

The investigations, conducted by the Carabinieri and coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Torre Annunziata, have made it possible to gather serious indications of guilt against the man arrested today as the perpetrator of the crime indicated above.
From the investigations it emerged that the suspect, disguised as a white sheet and a black mephisto, taking advantage of the fact that the victims had absentmindedly left the keys to the house in the lock of the front door, would have entered in the middle of the night. , in the home of the offended persons in order to commit a theft.

Discovery by the owner's daughter, the suspect, who is also responsible for the crime of aggravated personal injury against her, did not desist from his criminal intent, going so far as to beat her with kicks and punches in order to ensure possession of the stolen goods he had already appropriated, i.e. gold and cash, as well as in order to take possession of a further sum of money, documents and a bunch of keys, taking them away from the woman.

The particularly brutal methods of committing the crime are symptomatic of the criminal nature of the subject, who has specific criminal records, made it necessary to apply the maximum severity precautionary measure by the judge for the preliminary investigations.
Following the formal procedures, the arrested person was taken to the Naples Poggioreale Prison at the disposal of the judicial authorities.
