The agents ofOperational Units for Environmental Protection and Anti-illegal Construction, in via Nuova Toscanella, as part of the activities aimed at combating the phenomenon of illegal construction, they discovered that, on an area having a surface area of approximately 1500 mXNUMX, earth moving, excavation and leveling operations had been carried out, with tree removal with the aim of creating a logistics unit intended for parking vehicles. Furthermore, it was present in the area a shed with sheet metal roofing which, supported by ten iron pillars, was intended to outline a further area of approximately 200 mXNUMX.
The presence of piles of special waste piled up in several places, consisting of demolition aggregates mixed with cement and asphalt, wooden platforms and waste deriving from telephone and electrical cable wiring works. The moving terrain, partly spilled in the quarry, it was mixed with waste of different types and nature; cans of solvents could be seen with the naked eye, plastic parts and demolition aggregates. During the check, the presence of a large tank was also detected, over 20 thousand liters, filled with fuel for which the offender, this CD, 28 years old, Neapolitan, was unable to provide no authorization title. The officers proceeded to seizure of the portion of the area, the waste, the fuel tank and to refer the owner to the Prosecutor's Office for the crimes committed.
At the same time, the staff of Environmental Protection Operational Unit intervened in Via Bosco di Capodimonte to ascertain an illegal waste dump. The Agents found a large quantity of special waste abandoned to the ground, clearly the result of construction work. The intervention of the Agents allowed the perpetrator of the crime, FS, to be caught still on the spot. 29 years old, resident in Naples, to which, in addition to the administrative sanction, as he is not able to produce any contract for disposal, the waste, seized, was entrusted for safekeeping until it was correctly disposed of at his expense and according to the instructions provided by theJudicial authority.
