Agents of the Local Police of Naples belonging to the Lawyer Operational Unit, together with colleagues from the Building Protection Operational Unit, intervened in Piazza Bovio to verify the construction work in progress. It emerged that the works involved the merger of two property units and other structural changes.

The man arrested, identified as SG, a fifty-year-old Neapolitan with numerous specific criminal records, was caught while trying to walk away after having committed a theft inside a parked taxi, stealing the taxi driver's cell phone. SG was arrested for theft with related personal specific aggravating circumstances, according to the provisions of articles 624, 625 and 337 of the Penal Code, and was taken to security rooms waiting to be judged in a very direct rite.
Furthermore, during the checks conducted in via Foria, the staff noticed the presence of numerous customers in an outdoor area associated with a food service business already subjected to seizure on February 7 for having been created without any authorization.
