Naples: extraordinary checks by the State Police in the Ponticelli area, a drug laboratory busted.

The extraordinary services set up by the Naples Police Headquarters to combat the phenomena of illegal possession of weapons and drug trafficking continue.
In particular, the officers of the Ponticelli Police Station, during the territorial control service, while passing through via Immacolata Concezione, noticed a person hastily exiting a house; the same person, at their sight, hastily moved away to elude the control, managing, momentarily, to disappear.

Therefore, since there was good reason to believe that there could be further elements in relation to the facts being investigated, the police, after having issued a search note, checked the house in question where they discovered a real laboratory for cutting and processing narcotic substances.

In fact, the operators found over 5 kg of marijuana, including bags and substances obtained from cutting the plants, 38 blocks of hashish weighing a total of about 4 kg, 28 bags and various pieces of cocaine weighing about 1 kg, 2 precision scales, various materials for packaging the narcotic substance and 23 22-caliber cartridges; in the bedrooms, however, two greenhouses were discovered complete with ventilation system, reflecting lamps and various marijuana plants.
The agents tracked down and stopped the suspect, identified as the 30-year-old Neapolitan, who was arrested for illegal possession of narcotics and illegal possession of ammunition.
