The State Police executed an order implementing the precautionary measure of detention in prison, issued by the GIP of the Court of Naples at the request of the Public Prosecutor's Office, against a Sri Lankan citizen not yet thirty years old, with a criminal record for crimes against the person and against property, accused of serious injuries aggravated by futile reasons, committed against his fellow countryman partner.
From the investigation activities, carried out by personnel of the Naples Flying Squad and coordinated by the 4th Section of the Naples Prosecutor's Office - Gender violence and protection of the weaker sections of the population, a serious and alarming circumstantial framework emerged; in fact, the sources of evidence acquired highlighted the existence of serious indications of guilt against the suspect, already arrested previously for stalking his ex-partner.

In particular, the same man, with multiple actions of the same criminal plan, for trivial reasons, had violently attacked his new partner, repeatedly hitting her with kicks and punches, until she fainted, causing her serious personal injuries.
After committing the crime, the suspect had become untraceable; therefore, the risk of escape is also being examined by the Judge who issued the coercive measure.
