This morning, the State Police carried out the execution of a seizure order aimed at confiscating assets issued in compliance with the proposal of the Police Commissioner by the Court of Naples - Preventive Measures Section, pursuant to the anti-mafia code, against D'AMICO Salvatore, alias “o' pirata”.
The suspect, already under special surveillance by the State Police, since he was suspected of belonging to the clan of the same name, also known as the “Gennarella”, he has already been convicted of membership in the Camorra and related crimes, operating in the eastern area of Naples, in particular in the “San Giovanni a Teduccio” neighborhood (Rione Villa) and surrounding areas. This criminal organization, always dedicated to criminal activities such as extortion, robbery, usury, damage, threats - exercised against entrepreneurs, traders, freelancers and ordinary citizens -, drug trafficking, has consolidated its affirmation on the territory both through agreements with other Camorra organizations, in particular with the well-known "MAZZARELLA" clan and its territorial branches, - such as the "LUONGO" group of San Giorgio a Cremano (NA) - and through armed opposition with rival criminal organizations among others, in particular, the "RINALDI" clan and the "REALE" clan.
In particular, following the asset investigation activity conducted by the agents of the Asset Prevention Measures Section of the Anti-Crime Police Division of the Naples Police Headquarters, the assets found to be in the actual possession of D'Amico, even if formally registered in the name of his family members and/or third parties, purchased during the period in which he expressed his social dangerousness, are subject to seizure.

The total value of the seized assets amounts to approximately 6.000.000,00 euros.
