Naples: Checks at Naples Central Station, 771 people checked and a 20-year-old arrested
During the activities of extraordinary control in the area of the Naples Central railway station and surrounding areas, the State Police arrested a 20-year-old Neapolitan with a criminal record for improper use and counterfeiting of payment instruments other than cash.
In particular, the police officers of the Railway Police Department they noticed, in a commercial activity inside the station, a person who, after having taken multiple packs of virtual prepaid cards of a well-known circuit, went to the cashiers to proceed with the payment of the same with a debit card.
The operators, after seeing that the payment transaction had been denied, checked the aforementioned and ascertained that the debit card was registered to another person; again, the young man was found in possession of a further 40 debit cards registered to as many individuals.
Finally, during the same service, a total of 771 people were identified, of which 2 were reported for illegal entry and residence in the territory of the State and 183 with police records.
