The State Police proceeded with the provisional arrest for the purpose of surrender of a 45-year-old as the recipient of a European arrest warrant, issued by the Spanish authorities, for computer fraud.
Specifically, personnel from the Campania Polfer Department, during targeted checks aimed at preventing and repressing crimes on board trains, during the long-distance escort service of the Intercity train (Naples/Vibo Marina route), upon reaching the Salerno station, identified a subject and ascertained that the above-mentioned measure was pending against him.
At the end of the ritual activities, by order of the PM on duty of the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Court of Salerno, the aforementioned was transferred to the Salerno prison.
Finally, the agents checked 1134 people at the railway stations in Campania, 180 of whom had previous convictions.
