Naples: 39-year-old Dominican arrested for cocaine dealing and resisting a public official

The State Police has a 39-year-old Dominican, illegally residing in the country, was arrested for illegal possession of narcotics for the purpose of dealing and resisting a public official. In particular, the officers of the Vicaria-Mercato Police Station, during the services arranged for this purpose, while passing through via dei Tribunali, at the corner with via Pietro Trinchera, noticed a motorcycle with a person on board who was about to give something to some people who, having noticed the presence of the operators, hastily moved away, disappearing without a trace.

The policemen, promptly intervened to interrupt the criminal process, they caught up with the suspect as he was trying to escape and, with no small amount of difficulty, stopped him and found him in possession of 37 packages of cocaine with a total weight of approximately 8 grams and 197 euros divided into banknotes of various denominations. For these reasons, the suspect he was arrested by the operating personnel.
