Naples: 45-year-old arrested in a tattoo parlor for drugs and illegal weapons.

By delegation of Public Prosecutor, it is communicated that, during a sanitation control performed at a tattoo and piercing studio, the military of NAS of Naples they arrested a 45enne for illegal possession of weapons, ammunition and narcotic substances.

From health inspection to drug and weapons discovery

The intervention, initially aimed at verifying compliance with the health and hygiene regulations, took an unexpected turn when the Carabinieri noticed that the owner he appeared visibly agitated and nervousThis attitude pushed the military to search the man and the study, within which they had been some rooms adapted for residential use.

During the search, the following were found:

• Eight vacuum-packed blocks of cocaine, for a total weight of 1,3 kg
• Eleven heat-sealed packages of cocaine, for a weight of 15 grams
• A large caliber pistol with a scratched serial number
• Tanks and copious ammunition
• Numerous ammunition of different calibers
• Precision scales and drug packaging material
• Thousands of euros in cash, divided into banknotes of various denominations

Arrest and investigations underway

All the material was seized immediately and the man was subjected to the pre-trial detention in prison, available to competent Judicial Authority. He will have to answer to the charges of:

• Illegal possession of a clandestine weapon
• Prescription
• Possession of narcotic substances for the purpose of dealing

OnBallistic tests will be carried out on the seized weapon to verify possible involvement in news events.
