A 40-year-old Tunisian man steals a tourist's cell phone, flees, and attacks an off-duty police officer. He is arrested after a chase.

Via Toledo is crowded, even more so in the evening.
Throngs of tourists stroll around looking for a restaurant or a snap for social media.
Among them too Imed Fahri, 40 year old of Tunisian originsHe's not a visitor, he's not on an excursion. He's pointing at someone's coat. German woman, distracted by the shop windows.

Twice he puts his hand in the pocket of his jacket, the second time he manages to slip it out the cell phone.
Un Marshal of the Vomero operational unit, off duty and with his family, sees everything. He approaches the 40-year-old and tries to stop him.

This one reacts, he hits the policeman with his elbow and then runs away.
He lets go of the stolen goods and runs away quickly.
The soldier chases him and, after a few hundred meters, thanks to the support of two local police officers, manages to stop him.

In handcuffs, Fahri was arrested for improper robbery and resisting a public official.
He is now in custody, awaiting trial.
