Naples: 22 luxury car thefts. Four arrested.

I Carabinieri of the Company Vomero they performed aimplementing ordinance di house arrest precautionary measures issued by the Court of Naples at the request of the local Public Prosecutor's Office.
I four recipients of the measure are seriously accused, in various capacities, of criminal association aimed at theft of cars and motorcycles, which occurred in Naples and in various municipalities in Campania – on public roads or in homes – as well as robberies against one of the owners who became aware of the theft in progress.
The investigation, coordinated by the VII Section "Urban Security" of the Naples Public Prosecutor's Office and conducted by the Marianella Carabinieri station of Naples, through dynamic activities, analysis of the devices
cell phones used by the perpetrators and private or citizen video surveillance systems, integrated with technical-scientific investigations carried out on biological traces by the Investigations Section
Scientific research of the Provincial Command CC of Naples and of the RIS of Rome, has allowed us to collect clues at the expense of today's people investigated and to reveal the operation di a criminal association which, based in the neighborhood Scampia, he committed crimes throughout the Campania region.

He maintained contact with the receivers with whom he negotiated the sale price of the stolen vehicles and oversaw the distribution of the profits – and of the participants.
The associates, using rental car periodically replaced, after having identified the vehicles of interest – often large cars economic value – they placed GPS tracking devices in the rearview mirrors or bumpers, with the aim of monitoring them, and then carrying out the criminal action at the most favorable opportunities.
During the investigation, n. were found. 22 episodes of theft occurred in the Vomero, Fuorigrotta, Posillipo, Soccavo districts of the city of Naples and in the municipalities of Aversa, Marcianise, Giugliano in
Campania, Casoria, Trecase, Pozzuoli, San Giuseppe Vesuviano, and Santa Maria La Fossa. Burglary tools, various emblems for well-known luxury car brands, and advanced equipment for programming and regenerating vehicle electronic keys were seized.
