Ischia: Katana under the mattress and drugs in his underwear, 19-year-old repeat offender arrested

Commercial port. Hydrofoil just docked. Regular Carabinieri checks on passengers getting off. Andrea Sirabella, a 19-year-old from Casamicciola Terme already known to the police, notices the soldiers as soon as he sets foot on land and accelerates his pace trying to disappear as soon as possible. His actions, however, make his attempt in vain because the Carabinieri of the Ischia Station notice him and stop him. They identify him, then decide to search him. And in fact they discovered that in his underwear he was hiding 2 blocks of hashish weighing a total of 2 grams.

The search continued at home where the Carabinieri discovered, under the mattress, a blank gun and a katana. The 19-year-old was arrested for possession of drugs for the purpose of dealing and illegal possession of weapons and will be taken to prison.
