Torre del Greco: Attacks Doctor Who Refuses to Issue Requested Prescriptions, 70-Year-Old Arrested

The Carabinieri of the Torre del Greco Station have andfollowed by an order to increase the measure against a 70-year-old man already under house arrest with permission to leave. The man, accompanied by his partner, he had gone to his GP's office to request some prescriptions. When the professional refused to issue certifications that were not deemed necessary, the 70-year-old reacted violently, grabbing the doctor by the lapel of his jacket.

The partner, on the other hand, brandished a chair in a threatening manner, only desisting after the secretary intervened. Immediately after, the two left the office without causing any damage or physical injury. The doctor, however, filed a complaint against both of them with the police. The episode prompted the military to request a worsening of the detention measure. In execution of a provision issued by the Surveillance Office of Naples, the 70-year-old was arrested and transferred to Poggioreale prison.
