Cardito (Naples), workshop discovered to dismantle stolen cars: two people arrested
A man has just had his car stolen. Various GPS devices are installed on board, all connected to an application that shows the precise location of the vehicle on the smartphone display. Who has in his hands that car removed all but one of them and the signal is still alive on Cardito's map.
The victim of the theft turns to the Carabinieri of Crispano who follow the directions provided by the satellite system up to via Palazzetto dello Sport. You can't see the car but you can clearly hear the sound of hammering metal.
The soldiers follow the shots and reach a warehouse. They block all possible escape routes, then storm inside. Two people at work, 5 cars ready to be dismantled and possibly resold. Between these are also the gray Giulia with the "forgotten" GPS.
Salvatore Esposito born in Massa di Somma on 14.11.1997 and Gianluca Germano, born in San Giorgio a Cremano on 20.12.2005, both very young, they make an attempt to escape but cannot go beyond the building's main door. They will finish in handcuffs for receiving stolen goods and money laundering.
The cars, all stolen, were returned to their rightful owners.
